Heather drank on a regular basis with her friends. One Wednesday after school she began reflecting on her drinking behavior and the excessive and hazardous drinking of her buddies. When some of her drinking friends asked what kind of alcohol problems Heather was referring to, Heather mentioned the following: alcohol-related diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and cirrhosis of the liver and other alcohol-related problems like alcohol poisoning (which can be fatal in some instances), alcoholism, and alcohol-related traffic accidents and fatalities.
When Heather then noted that careless drinking frequently results in legal, school, financial, and relationship problems, some of her friends finally began to comprehend how widespread and how debilitating abusive and excessive drinking can be. Indeed, some of her buddies opened up and started to tell how these alcoholism and alcohol abuse effects had adversely affected some of their friends and their parents.
After discussing some of the alcohol addiction and alcohol abuse problems that are related to abusive and careless drinking, the majority of her pals liked the idea about getting information online. They were, on the other hand, hesitant to discuss their drinking behavior with staff at school.
